Timing Chips

All 10K runners and walkers will be issued a computerized chip to attach to their shoe. These chips will enable all participants to receive a more accurate time as the chip will record the time when it crosses the start line and when it crosses the finish line. To receive a time, you must cross both the starting line and finish line. Your chip time will be your official time.

After you cross the finish line you may remove your chip from your shoe and recycle it in a designated receptacle in the finish area.
