Defending champion Ward, Wisconsin native Davis-Green among competitors
GREEN BAY — Defending Bellin Run champion Jared Ward and Wisconsin native and former Badgers standout Amy Davis-Green will headline an impressive field of athletes competing in the 49th annual Bellin Run on Saturday, June 14.
Ward is a four-time Bellin Run champion, having captured the men’s title in 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Currently living and training in London, this Bellin Run favorite is returning for his shot at a fifth 10K event win.
Pro runner Davis-Green is a Madison Edgewood High School grad whose resume includes three high school state track titles and a collegiate First Team All-American selection. She boasts a personal best of 32:05 in the 10K and 2:28:42 in the marathon.
Vying for the title on the men’s side will be Bellin Run newcomer JP Flavin, whose stellar 2:10:50 showing at the 2025 Boston Marathon was good for 16th overall and fifth among American competitors. With a 28:20 10K road personal best, Flavin could offer some stiff competition for defending champion Ward.
The women’s elite field also boasts Bellin Run first-timer Stephanie Bruce, a two-time U.S. 10K champion and accomplished master’s runner who has balanced her 12-plus year pro career with the demands of raising three kids. She co-founded the performance real food bar line Picky Bars and has earned fans and followers with her relatable “Chasing Kids, Chasing Dreams” mantra.
