GREEN BAY — The 50th annual Bellin Run is set to kick off race weekend with a range of family-friendly activities Friday, June 12 in Astor Park. The Friday events promise fun, excitement and a trip down memory lane for attendees of all ages, setting the stage for the Bellin 10K and 5K on Saturday morning.
Friday evening events include:
- General events:
- Registration/packet pick-up - 3-8 p.m.
Individuals who are registered for Saturday’s event are invited to pick up their race packet at this time. Those who are not signed up may register in person until 8 p.m. at the Astor Park registration tent. The price to register in person on June 13 is $55. - Health & Fitness Expo - 3-8 p.m.
The expo features booths with health education, nutrition information, fitness equipment and apparel vendors, as well as community organizations. The Emplify Health by Bellin Sports Medicine booth will be offering free injury consultations and hands-only CPR training. - Historical Exhibit - 3-8 p.m.
Take a look back at 49 amazing years of Bellin Run through our historical exhibit filled with memorabilia such as T-shirts, newspaper clippings and photos. - Children's activities - 3-7 p.m.
Activities for kiddos will include art projects, face painting and more to help children get in on the fun! - Pasta dinner - 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Attendees are invited to our annual all-you-can-eat pasta dinner. The prices are just $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, and free for anyone under 2 years old. The menu includes salad, garlic toast, pasta with meat sauce, mac & cheese, baby carrots, apple slices, cookies, water and Pepsi products. - Elite athlete autographs - 4:45-5:30 p.m.
Bellin’s world-class runners will be signing autographs between the Health & Fitness Expo and pasta dinner tents. Click here for information on this year’s elites. - Dine with an Icon - 6-6:30 p.m.
Join Bellin Run icons, including 1977 Bellin Run champ Frank Shorter, for an informal meet-and-greet. Hear their stories, ask them questions and get inspired to toe the start line on Saturday.

Sponsored by Emplify Health by Bellin Orthopedics, the Back to the Road Crew is features individuals who have faced surgery or major illness and want to get “Back to the Road.” They’ll complete a one-mile course (two laps around Astor Park) to celebrate their recovery. This is an invitation-only event. - TRIUMPH Mile - 5 p.m.
Our incredible MyTEAM TRIUMPH athletes and their angel helpers will complete an inspirational one-mile walk/run around the perimeter of Astor Park. All are welcome, and attendees and others are welcome to donate online at myteamtriumph-wi.org. - Children's Run - 6 p.m.
The Children’s Run is a half-mile run around the perimeter of Astor Park. This is a non-competitive fun run. Every kid is a winner! Registration is just $15, or $20 in person on Friday evening. Participants receive an official Bellin Run T-shirt, a cool superhero cape and a great finisher medal. Registration is available at bellinrun.com.
- Back to the Road Crew - 4 p.m.
Several of our Friday events require registration, so the Belin Run reminds participants to sign up accordingly.
Bellin Run officials encourage all participants and spectators to stay hydrated. Everyone is welcome to bring personal water bottles and visit our water stations to stay cool and hydrated.
