Athlinks – This website allows you to type in your name and find your previous times from a multitude of events, including the Bellin Run and Packers 5K.
Map My Run – the website gained notoriety for the ability map out accurate distances on streets and trails. The site has grown to include many other facets, including accessing their app. The app allows you to utilize the built-in GPS of your mobile device to record your workout details, including duration, distance, pace, speed, elevation, calories burned, and route traveled on an interactive map. It stores your history. Available for iOS, Android and Blackberry.
RunGo -- Get real-time turn-by-turn directions.
Runtastic – A fitness app that works with your GPS device or smart phone to track distance, record results, analyze performance and share via social media. The basic plan is free or there is an upgrade available.
Runners Ally – This developer offers a variety of apps including a running pace calculator, heart rate zones, and one that checks your local forecast and tells you what to wear running. It also includes hydration, BMI, and calories burned calculators. Available for Android and iOS.
