Why I walk the Bellin Run: Jill Hileman, Green Bay

I’m doing my second Bellin Run walk because I am actively changing my lifestyle to one that supports my overall health and wellness.

In the last year I have become nearly gluten-free, I’ve curtailed my sugar intake, and I am eating raw foods about 50 percent of the time. I gave up caffeine many years ago, and I am taking daily supplements such as Vitamin D3 and iodine to round out my health picture.

Now I am learning yoga and working to release the excess weight that has plagued me through the years.

I am not looking for the quick fixes that mostly fall short. Everyday I am becoming the well person I was always meant to be. Walking the Bellin Run fits in nicely with my overall health and wellness efforts.
